A little about Hivecraft

Welcome to Hivecraft!  I’m Vanessa, the chief maker (and accountant, web designer, marketing dept, etc).

I got started along the path to making infused honeys during Wisconsin’s long winters.  During those long cold days and nights, I would spend countless hours trying just about any recipe I came across on Pinterest.  After some time, I started making these really awesome infused caramel sauces.  The best one I make is bourbon caramel sauce.  Nom.  I promise to share the recipe some time.

Anyhow, I got the idea to start selling my caramel sauces and while searching for more ideas for caramel infusions, I came across infused honeys.  Instantly I was sold at the idea.  I had found out that processing caramel to make it shelf stable was complicated.  And expensive.  On the other hand, processing honey is a breeze.  So, after many more countless hours playing with infused honey recipes, Hivecraft was born.
